My wife has M S and I am the primery carer. We have aids to help and carers coming in at morning and evening . It can get hard as being on benefits mean NO holidays or anything fancy as you get enough to live on.
I have told my children not to care for their mother as I am now doing as their lives would be compromised and they would be in the rut . Their lives must be their own and they can decide and live their own way.
There are some plus`s with this job , sitting in the garden on nice days and you are your own boss , you decide how to run your day. It`s not all doom and gloom
