Hello bryn156, read your letter with interest because one of the things you northeners are (were) better at than us was looking after your old folks, but have just realized your as bad as we are. The sign of a modern and just society is how you look after your parents in their old age. Anyone who turns their back on a parent when they most need help is nothing more than a savage, but in this world of ME Me Me its becoming more and more common! Culture? you can keep it, I know what I will do when I cant look after myself. Still a couple of years left
though.
