Cherryandwhite, In the complex where I live we have 2 or 3 residents who never ever see their relatives,& i've heard of relatives only visiting when they want money,I am fortunate that I get visits from my family,but unfortunately in this world we now live in,it is becoming the norm to dump your parents when they get old & feeble,this practice is now spilling over to the Asian population whose caring for elderly relatives has always been part of their culture...
