Hi levi1962, what a sad story, and I thought I was in dire straights. Also have the feeling, should anything happen to my mother, certain people will be round like a shot weeping and wringing their hands, but as I said before, not everyone is selfish and some folk do things above and beyond expected things.
Most of the people that help my mother I had'nt seen in over 30 years, and it humbles me. Where I live you dont even know the name of the next door neighbour, and thats one of the things that I realy miss about Wigan. My mother will NEVER go into a home as long as I can help it, even if it means moving back to the UK, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Good luck (viel gluck)
