i know how u feel had to put my mum in a nursing home seven years ago after a very severe stroke three weeks before her 60th birthday it was the hardest thing that me and my brother and sister (she was only 18 at the time) had to do the rest of the family just didnt want to know and my mum had four sisters and were supposed to be a tight knit family we visited her every day always two of us at a time did it for five years till she passed away in her sleep at 3.30am on 10th June 2005 she didnt get one visit from her sisters even though she kept faith that they would come and they never did... mind u did have some good friends although not naming any names cause they use this site too didnt stay by me never saw her again after the funeral... point is if uve got a good family that'll help u out keep them at home as long as possible if not use a nursing home but check them out first there are a lot of good ones out there and local too.. good luck
