cherryandwhite, we looked after Mum as best we could. Dad was 8 years older than mum but when she thought it was the middle of the night when it was broad daylight...etc. Dad was exhausted and something had to be done. We got in touch with Age Concern (who were brilliant) and Mum was placed into a home which we were all happy with and so was Mum. There's only so much you can do, cherryandwhite, before your loved one(s) need professional care.
