Well said fatlad!!! not the small minded bit but the explanation of the bigger picture. If anyone is to blame for staff shortages, low level crime targets, ridiculous laws and policies it is the government who have brought all these into place. The police do what their masters decree and dont forget, the Police Authority is made up of members of the public so who is deciding what they target?
