We had many a clog fight In Abram,we used the catch cry "I,ll Pow thee too Death",they where the good old days,thank God they are gone.
I also remember the sound of clogs ,In Park Lane when the Miners from the Maypole where running to catch the bus on
Warrington Rd Abram,It sounded like a stampede of horses.
