Tonker says it is 'CLEARLY' FOR TURNING LEFT. The photo shows that it isn't marked therefore NOT CLEAR.
I agree with Tonker (there's a first!) that it should be OBVIOUS it is for turning left, therefore drivers going straight on instead of turning left are doing nothing incorrect according to the non existent road markings.
