Beaten to it, by dostaf, I don't seem to be able to find a 'Greater Manchester' Day either, bentlegs!

However, I would point out that Merseyside and Greater Manchester were created by way of the very same Local Government Act, back in 1972. It follows that anywhere in Merseyside (ie: Downall Green) has NOT been in Lancashire for exactly the same time as anywhere in Greater Manchester (ie: Wigan) has NOT been in Lancashire.
