This doesn't have to be an inconvenience and you don't have to fergo the fun of bog roll lobbing - might I suggest the challenge of *lobbing a bog roll at your toilet roll holder, (it could catch on), when the bathroom is unoccupied.

If it misses and falls into the bog, just roll your sleeve up and fish it out, then, with care, transfer it to your bath. It'll dry out eventually, esp if the radiator is on full blast on chilly winter days. Never attempt to lob a soggy bog roll, but retrieve a new dry one from your supply once you have washed your hands.
There is a problem if it was your last bog roll that has prematurely ended up in the bog ....
