I only know that the company we are with are owned by a blue chip company in the city of London, who have taken on customers from some of the small companies that went under.

The British company we are with do offer to refund any amount as long as you keep their recomended direct debit amount that will keep you in credit and also give a estimate on each monthly statement how much you are are expected to spend over the following twelve months which varies each month depending on how world prices of energy change.

At the end of 2022/23 financial year, due having had a inflated monthly direct debit to keep our account well in credit during the ever increasing energy costs period that resulted in us building up a credit of £869, they got in touch and offered to refund any amount we desired which we did and the amount in full of £869 was credited into our bank account in the normal banking period of 3-5 days.

Never got that kind of customer service when we were with the foreign owned companies of the EU countries of France, Germany, Spain etc.
