Peter, you and your wife can have an income, between you, of over £25,000 a year without paying tax.
You say you’re both going to be paying tax.
It follows that you are, between you, getting over £25,000 a year.
That’s over £500 a week.
If you can’t manage on over £500 a week, net, without complaining about it, it’s time t’chuck it!
