The population of the UK in 1997 was 58.32 million. In 2023 it is 67.74 million .Increase in population 9.42 million.
It’s equivalent to the UK absorbing the entire population of Austria, 8.96 million or Switzerland, 8.80 million.
It’s obvious that some UK services are struggling to cope but it’s a miracle that they’re still functioning.
