A volunteer project - Community Circles - will extend its work with local care homes
thanks to funding to transform adult social care. (Leigh Journal)

70% of care homes in the borough are rated as good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The work will aim to help raise the levels of care to outstanding by creating better links between care homes and the wider community.
