I am in that situation and it is a 24 hours a day job but I will continue to do it. After 66 years of marriage and the shared love and happy times, these are the things you just cannot forget and take the easy option.
Dignity in old age is something we all hope for and deserve.
Yes, I know it is difficult and exhausting.
We must strive to treat others as we would like to be treated.
