Anne, if you want to do a three dimensional card, I think it would work very well, would look lovely.

The Victorian method, you have to string each bead individually onto a fine wire.

The French method is slightly easier, as you get a bead spinner, and thread a couple of yards at a time.

The best beads are Japanese, they are more uniform in size and shape than any other. I used to use German beads, but they are not good enough for really fine work.

If you need any help with suppliers let me know, I found a few good ones.
