Momac, I think that's the same for all hand made things and crafts. people like them, but just don't realise how much it costs me to make a cake than a big retailer who buys in bulk. I would prefer not to have the spare room stacked with dried fruit and icing sugar!

It takes me longer to make than they expect, I used to make a 3 tier wedding cake start to finish in 4 weeks. These days it's more like 6 weeks.

I have to find the time in between looking after my daughter, which is not always easy.

I'll post a pic of the poinsettias when they are finished, they are looking good
