My husband was compensated for industrial deafness several years ago,but I think it was the AEU that handled this.
His deafness has been progressively getting worse and our GP referred him for has now got.He also suffers from tinitus and has recently had an MRI scan and is awaiting the results.
It is worthwhile trying for compensation but more important is to have your hearing looked at and improved.
