Reet where do I start,I'm from norley and know a lot of the people mentioned on here ,but do you remember the characters?( Commando joe) jones lived in Dorset close he put a wire fence up int back garden and connected it to leccy so we would,nt pinch his kids bommy lol but that didn't stop us .next door to him was (Popeye) Sinclair owd chap he was .and who remembers the Marney,s Ella wren , Albert ainsworth ,deb jones best header of a football in wigan she would play football we us all day .then the was the crooks family,jeff,Alan, Carl and his twin can't think of his name ? Anyway mr crook always had spare valves fot tellys in the days and when our telly broke as it often did ,me dad would say nip up mr crooks an see if he's got a spare B 10 valve or whatever number it was what we needed and guess wot he always had one lol good old days
