I used to mate and work at tupperware with Rita Haughton her sister Linda sadley died A few years ago .. i think her other sister was called Margaret .. and they have a brother called Alan they used to call him little murt lol i remember the Gallager sisters also.Honk went to live in Australia came back about 20 years ago could not settle and went back .. John Bankes lived oposite you Barry in the Houses leading up to the norley pub Also Tommy Malone and the Derbyshires lived on the end house be for the Steps that went down to the pub they moved there from Somerset road they had i think 4 girls i used to be freinds with one of the girls Carol think there was 3 of them she married Lesley Stevenson think he lived on the Green at one time i mated with Christine Whittle Judy and yes she di marry Steven Burke was talking to her FEW weks ago in the Enfeild labour club it was there Caroles 50 birthday party i was there with Carol Speakman and Janet Conway.. tell you who i was talking to as well not see him for years Graham Marsh used to call him Rocky ,, his brother married Pauline Whittle . Christine sister Roberet Gaskel lived next door to my freind Florence Burrows and we are still freinds after all these years over 50 years . .. who was the lady they called 2 gill lill Bary she used to go in the West Ward was Only a little lady think she used to live in the row of houses that were on the same side as the hostell I also remember Gergie Pool and his brother Ronni was a frend of my hubbys when they were younger .. Colin Burgess lived oposite the shops he was in my class at st Johns and i had a bad accident one of the walls at school fell over on him he was only young when it happened think we were in the Juniors at the time there was a lad who lived be hind the norley some were i think they called him dylan that was not his name just his nickname .. also there was another lad his name escapes me he has a pub on pemberton or he did have ? i also remeber Jimmy Dyke he lived on Lamberhead Road as a brother who used to be a ajokey Martine i think his name was .also Paul Rothwell he lived in Lamberhead Road as well he had a couple of brothers think one of them was Called Ian . they have or di have a plumbing business. .. ehh my finger is hurting with all this typing i keep remembering different names ..jarvo one of the girls you mentioned Frances Atherton she sadley passed Away a few years ago lovely girl she was the sister of my freinds Maxine AND Genette Atherton .... i remember playing murps in the middle of Dorset close with a lad they called chucky he was A Mackin froget his first name now think it was Charley.. they wer related to the Farleys who lived next door to them in Dorset Close .does any one remember the McCanne twins they were nice girls .. nana are you from norley?
