speaking of carefree days when we were young,meself Peter Gilbert Walter Mcnicholas and Josie Foster decided in a wild impulsive way to visit a friend who had moved, so we walked it to Ormskirk !!! after an eternity we found his house and spent the afternoon playing .his dad was going to run us home in his car but after an unfortunate accident with a medicine ball and a prized collection of bird's eggs he chucked us out we set out to walk back and about halfway we called at a house to beg a drink of water,the kindly lady gave us a drink and after hearing of our plight gave us bus fare to get us home as it was getting late .when we finally got back all the neighbours were out scouring the streets for us ,as they did in those days when kids went missing,boy were we in bother that time never allowed out the street for a week after that great days great memories
