Liz,
I was too shy to make my feelings known lol. I left Wigan in 1976 , it sounds like a long time but in my mind it,s just the blink of an eye. I still love Wigan and have great memories. I remember Stan Hart shooting me in the ankle with his .22 rifle. He lived in Humber Place, I carried on playing football for about half an hour with your Dave and the gang, then the pain kicked in and they had to carry me home, then on a bus to the infirmary. Luckily it only left an hole in the bone. My dad said I was lucky because "we're there,s no sense, ther,s no feeling!!" I took it has a back handed compliment. Anyhow hope you and your family are doing well, give my regards to Dave.
