Hi all,
I lived at 22 Ribble Drive, you could look up Trent Road from our living room window. Recognise a lot of the names that's been posted. Starting with the girls I fancied in no particular order Liz Martland , Anne Tame, great girl and sadly missed. Our next door neighbour Pat Taylor came knocking late one night to tell me Ann had died. I always thought it was a hole in her heart? Another fancy was Angela Foster from Lamberhead Green, but I think Geoff Duckworth asked her out before I had plucked up courage. Jean Halsall lived across the road from our hous. Mates were Dave Martland, Kevin Wynn, I went on holiday with Steve Brown and his parents to Anglesey. We were another Jones family but not one that's been mentioned yet. My brothers were George , sadly not with us any more but still here in spirit, and Phil married Barbara Gee from Orrell. Lots of memories and will post some more soon, well the ones that are printable.
