I have to say that was one hell of a match ..even for the neutral....Shaun wane take note bad goal kicking loses matches....I thought matey smith would have had a go when Percival kept missing badly.....5 tries to 3 and lost

A fine game, but RL players, please take a leaf out of RU...

LEARN HOW TO KICK GOALS.

I thought Saints were the better team and deserved to go to Old Trafford. But there you go.

Kicking generally is another area where RL lags behind RU.

Time and time again I am disappointed by how few yards are gained by penalties send into touch. As often as not it is no more than 20 metres whereas RU penalties often move play 40 to 50 metres up the pitch.

We need Joe Lydon back!

It seems a "don't care" attitude when it comes to kicking into touch....especially at Wigan...we even have the same attitude when it comes to kicking goals
I thought saints played well....cas's never say die attitude and play the last minute as the first just about did it for them.....to me Roby was the star man

James Roby was indeed, the man of the match.

A great player.

I agree about the touch finding ,how many times at Leigh when the kicker makes about 15 yards when kicking for touch have I heard the following "bloody hell jimmy Ledgard would have had that bugger just in't front of corner flag

Wigan wouldn't have coped with either of those teams last night. If we had made the top four I think it would have been embarrassing to say the least.

Of course union players are better than league players at kicking balls, they've had decades upon decades of kicking the ball from one end of the pitch to the other, it's part of their game.

What a cracking game.
