More "Plastic Mancs"!

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
chatty if you cant beat um...

Posted by: fireplace6899 (10535)  Report abuse
Yes bac to where they belong.

Champions league tickets on sale at City , buy one get one free.

Posted by: grimshaw (644)  Report abuse
And the berties have the nerve to say they are a big club.

Hundreds if not thousands of empty seats at champions league games tells its own story.

As F P rightly says buy one get one free is the only way they will come near to filling the council house .

Contrast at the T O D .

Spare tickets are as rare as hens teeth for euro games .

The berties are a joke ,a very very poor one.

Posted by: baker boy (13735) Report abuse
fp how many true mancs at O/T when a match is on,city fans tend to come from the city, not all points of the compass.

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
spare tickets are as rare as hens teeth at TOD!

NOT REALLY SURPRISING AS THE FANS ARE FORCED TO BUY TICKETS FOR GAMES IN THE C/L IF THEY WANT A SEASON TICKET,AND HOW COME THE TOP TIER WAS CLOSED A COUPLE OF TIMES DURING LAST SEASONS E/L I AWAIT YOUR REPLY GRIMSHAW LETS SEE IF YOU CAN TELL THE TRUTH.

Posted by: fireplace6899 (10535)  Report abuse
So they all live in Manchester baker boy. The other season there was 28,000 at Monday night game.

Not many live in Manchester then

Your having a bad time Laughingstock.

ANY MORE OFFERS ABOVE A CIG PACKET?

Posted by: grimshaw (644)  Report abuse
Laughingstock needs urgent medical attention f p .

He clearly detests the most succesful team in english football history yet he is even more clearly obsessed by them.

Very strange .

I do hope there is a known cure

Posted by: whups (2307)  Report abuse
i would,nt say all city fans come from the city . me & fp know several in our area & thats not in the city ? .

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
not obssessed at all grimshaw i'm just telling you the real facts and not some of the spiel generated by the club and media some people belive the attendance figures that are released by the club claimint to have 75000+ every match when quiet clearly on tv theres droves of empty seats, also some folk still believe theres a decade waiting list for season tickets,i'm willing to bet if you phoned the ticket office today you will be offered one.

Posted by: grimshaw (644)  Report abuse
Droves l g.

May i suggest a call to spec savers and book an eye test appointment as a matter of urgency because if you see droves of empty seats at o t your eyesight must be in a dreadful state.
Why dont you ring the ticket office and see if you can get a season ticket given your obsession with utd.

Your bound to get one for the council house berties .

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
grimshaw i think you'll find this pardon the pun GRIM READING

Posted by: grimshaw (644)  Report abuse
Very droll l g

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
what about the 17000 empty seats here, uniteds lowest attendance last season 58,179 vs. Zorya Luhansk (29 September 2016)

Posted by: grimshaw (644)  Report abuse
What was the berties lowest then..?

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
whats does it matter? you said theres never any empty seats at united yet low and behold i show you 17000 just let that sink in yes 17000

Posted by: fireplace6899 (10535)  Report abuse
17,000 empty seats that is because the ground is so big.

67,000 empty seats at Spurs last night.

Bet your having a crap season Laughingstock.

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
uniteds lowest attendance last season 58,179 vs. Zorya Luhansk (29 September 2016)

RECORD ATTENDANCE at the Etihad Stadium 54,693 (Manchester City vs Leicester City, 6 February 2016)

Let that one sink in!

Posted by: broady (12542)   Report abuse
I presume you are using the clubs attendance figures which are a good way off actual attendances. The GMP published figures vary between 10 and 15000 for lots of games. United, as with all the other teams, include season ticket holders whether they attend or not, whereas GMP have to use figures of ACTUAL number of bodies in the stadium. All the info is available on Google and has been obtained under the FOI Act.

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
As I have stated in the past no one knows exactly how many people are in attendance because many of the suites at Old Trafford that hold thousands between them are not entered through a turnstyle and no one is recording how many enter!

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
chatty dont you think that practice has to stop?,lets say god forbid there was a major incident at old trafford or any other ground that does the same,if people were not identifiable, just how long would say contacting 20,000 who decided not to turn up,but where shown as being at the game take to iliminate them, from being a injured or dead person.

Posted by: broady (12542)   Report abuse
The truth is out there somewhere. Not a matter of life and death anyway!!!

Posted by: roylew (2340) Report abuse
Bet they took their ball home if they couldn't be centre forward

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
Nonsense lg, why football clubs?

The Trafford Centre (for instance) will get many more people through its doors than OT over the course of a weekend (certainly more than the Etihad has we have already touched on)
I don't recall ever "clocking" in and out of there in case there was a "major incident"!

AND they had special offers on that evening .

Bogof.

How embarrasing given they portray themselves as a top club .
Heard a bertie fan on the radio last evening going on and on about how good they are and the league title is virtually wrapped up now and the champions league trophy is destined to adorn the east manchester council house sideboard .

The delusion is never ending .

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
Speaking of delusion Manchester united don't play in Manchester can you explain that also i see 3 united fans are givin me shit again and i never uttered their teams name 3 of um with not a ball between um no wonder they never meet face to face

Posted by: fireplace6899 (10535)  Report abuse
Siddy fans could buy one and get one free

Posted by: 0 years (2445) Report abuse
Please provide a link to Manchester City offering a buy one get one free on ticket sales for this match.

Thank you.

Posted by: grimshaw (644)  Report abuse
0 Years.

I have no link to provide .
I heard the bogof offer on the radio .

I would imagine if you need a link the berties will be happy to provide you with one .

Or would they .?

Posted by: 0 years (2445) Report abuse
Simple request, I assume that you did not make up this statement.

In order to back up your statement please provide a link or proof that Manchester City offered a by one get one free offer for this game.

Or did you make it up?

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
0 years your wasting your time expecting a sincere reply, they still believe united sell out for every match even tho, the top tier is regularly closed for cup matches

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
Well Well Well, my giddy aunt if it ain't the Scarlet Pimpernel.
You've spent a longtime there lurking in the shadows there "2 years"
Well done grim for having finally smoked him out!

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
Keep editing lg you'll get there in the end!

Posted by: 0 years (2445) Report abuse
Chatty -

I am quite prepared to accept that City, unlike a couple of other clubs, have not yet been at the top for long enough to attract enough glory hunters to fill our stadium for games other than Premier League games and the more popular Champions League games, but lazy regurgitation of media untruths needs to be challenged.

One thing I found encouraging though is that against Shaktar I didn't recognise anyone around me yet the stand was full. This suggests that although season card holders cannot afford to attend all cup games as well as paying for a season card, these unrecognised faces are willing to take up some of the slack.

Other teams like utd and L/Pool have more glory hunters to take up the slack and eventually it will also be the case with City.

Rome wasn't built in a day....but then again Pep wasn't the foreman on that job!

EDIT..I believe that utd season ticket holders are forced to buy cup tickets whereas City seasoncard holders are not.

Posted by: grimshaw (644)  Report abuse
Chatty.

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
Think you're well on your way concerning the glory hunters, lg's taking an interest now and we all know his track record.(When was that season ticket for the Latics again?)

Posted by: roylew (2340) Report abuse
Like all the premier league clubs...in essence the league table compres well with the money spent by those clubs..give or take the odd club that bucks the trend....it won't be long before our national side is full of championship players...
Harry Kane's goal scoring is all down to his foreign team mates..put him in an England shirt and he becomes ordinary

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
Rome wasn't built in a day....but then again pep wasn't the foreman on that job!

No Croesus wasn't bankrolling it either.

Posted by: grimshaw (644)  Report abuse
Nice one chatty.

When pep has delivered countless trophies to the council house including the champions league, that Sir Alex of Fergie delivered to O T then and only then can the berties be considered a top club, and until that happens the deluded bitters will be treated as little more than pretenders to the crown that rightly resides at O T .

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
grimshaw going off that logic united will never be a top club till they have a manager that delivered 3 european cups in 5 years like liverpool did seeing as fergie only delivered 2 in 27 years.

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
chatty and the glazers are not bankrolling 100 and 90 million pound players either...

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
No they've took Millions out of the club!

I see you've changed your tune yet again, not that long ago you was sniggering that United were skint!

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
Oh the misery, I feel your pain!

Posted by: laughing gravy (2358) Report abuse
pain far from it, as long as the boys in blue beat united to the title i'l belaughing all the way to the pub as me and grimshaw have a 20 quid bet

Posted by: chatty (5090)  Report abuse
So it's gone from "they may never win it again in my lifetime" to "as long as"....
I do believe the penny is finally dropping!

Posted by: fireplace6899 (10535)  Report abuse
Laughingstock Loserpool will never be a top team until they have been World champions TWICE like United.

Posted by: grimshaw (644)  Report abuse
L G.

I do wish you would articulate better.

Its grimshaw and i not me and grimshaw and how rapid the change from the berties to the stickies ,but not altogether surprising given the bitters have never won the champions league and never likely will.

Posted by: fireplace6899 (10535)  Report abuse
0 years has appeared again. I wonder why?

Still after all the dirty money, from the Arabs they have still not out performed United.

45,000 for a Champions League game.

I wonder what the cowd would have been against Burton?

Certainly not 54,000
