Obviously this means that Uncle and nephew now captain England RL and England RU teams respectively. One for Question of Sport in the future.

And if he ever gets to captain the British Lions it will be a father and son double, albeit at different codes

Only just remembered that Keiron O’Loughlin is father of the England RL captain and grandfather of the England RU captain. Must be a very proud guy.

The Farrells and the O'Loughlins, there's some rugby pedigree there. And top blokes also.

Did not make much difference to score line. Seems the Irish are top dogs at present.

They are top dog, but another Wigan lad, Andrew Farrell, Owen's dad, Is the defence coach for Ireland. And to keep it in the family, as broady mentioned earlier, Andrew is the England and Wigan rugby league captain, Shaun O'Loughlin's brother in law. And also the son in law of former Wigan player Keioron O'Loughlin. This is getting complicated!
