PETERq. Funny enough my misse's and i were talking about this very subject of the attendance, which was (( Can the F.A. explain to me just what do they expect of the fans? Any one in there right mind could and should have guessed that a replay on a Wednesday night K.O. 8.00pm would not attract hardly any fans this is taking into tthe fact the weather which was again foul ,but mainly to ask the Bournmouth fans to travel 250 plus mile's is simply ridiculous)) Peter i ask you would you travel that distance on a winter's night?? As for myself forget it! So we will have to see the attendance for the WEST HAM game any guesse's. OH WELL DONE WIGAN.

G B.

The last thing the F A think of is the fans and the many problems they encounter on traveling especially on the over crowded motorways.

Even so i was surprised at the low attendance but i suppose cost is a big factor.

Couldn't disagree more cordyline, first 20 minutes Blackburn got out of theif half twice, (two clinical finishes all the same) after that third goal was always going to be crucial, Latics got it and a win wouldn't have been a mugging for Blackburn.

I take my hat off to the Latics, they could easily have fell flat after the Southampton game, points on the board always trump games in hand for me (especially when the pressure is on) but they won their next two and it's in their hands.

Basil , it's probably because most of the Latics fans who view this site are old and wise enough to know that nothing has been achieved yet and the top three places may only be decided on the last day of the season . But yes , Latics have been brilliant this season and a joy to watch after last seasons awful campaign , let's hope we can go up as Champions , because they deserve to do

rover, i agree with everything you've said, i'm not taking anything for granted, i'm sure there will be more twists and turns before the season end, but hopefully, we will get there. it's a shame though, one of the three teams will miss out, which surely must be a record, for number of points, and not get promoted.

Replied: 13th Apr 2018 at 13:22

It's still 2 from 3 for the automatic promotion places.

The team that eventually misses out on automatic promotion will have accumulated miles more points than positions 4,5 and 6 and should be a shoo-in. BUT........

Good luck Latics, from a Wigan Warriors fan who would love you to get back up into the Championship.
