Flower, Clubb and Lockers must miss a season with injuries between them.

Trouble is they need their experience and leadership

What about the bulk of the season?

It's transition time - we'll soon have Ellery's lad cheering us all up.

I went to the game on Friday and thought the final score flattered Wigan – apart from Hardakers charge-down try they never looked like scoring again – badly lacking creativity at half back – why Sammut was not on the bench was surprising indeed - - Hastings, next seasons capture is a brilliant player but he will need a decent scrum half alongside him – I know Wigan were missing a few players on Friday but likewise Saints including Roby who for me is their ‘go -forward ‘playmaker - plenty of effort from Wigans youngsters but the lack of class and creativity is a worry

Can’t understand why Sammut can’t get a decent game...I know he’s getting on but he’s unpredictable and you always need that in a side to keep the opposition on their toes...just don’t get it especially from Lam
