Anybody want to forecast the attendance

Posted by: farrie50 (1710)  Report abuse
No

Posted by: PeterP (6649) Report abuse
Less than 15000

Posted by: farrie50 (1710)  Report abuse
Just watching the game ,got me thinking, what's the significance of the number beneath the badge on the Wigan shirt any ideas?

Posted by: PeterP (6649) Report abuse
Got their kit up online and no number showing but if you go onto ticket site shot of two players with different no on shirts

Posted by: i-spy (13920)  Report abuse
Heritage numbers maybe. Every player who has turned outfor Wigan has got one.

Posted by: farrie50 (1710)  Report abuse
Maybe Kath can tell us when she gets back from the match

Posted by: broady (13775)   Report abuse
I-spy is correct as ever.

There must have been less than 5,000 in that stadium.

Time to knock it on the head?

Yes. And about time too.

Posted by: roylew (2936) Report abuse
Looked about 10000 to me

Posted by: broady (13775)   Report abuse
12372 according to the WEP.

Posted by: jarvo (28635)  Report abuse
They cannot be making it pay.

Wigan must be losing money hand over fist.

Not surprising, it's like watching a pub match.

Posted by: kathpressey (4694)  Report abuse
then don't watch it jarvo.

Another fantastic sporting spectacle really puts football and RU in the shade

Made up for Manfredi. I felt for him when he scored his first try.

Posted by: peawapp (4960)  Report abuse
nice return for the ice cream Man I also thought that the Baby faced Assassin leant a little bit towards Warrington

Posted by: roylew (2936) Report abuse
That was a good game....jarvo....I havenít enjoyed watching Wigan as you know...but donít comment with blinkers on...a really good game with both sides short on first choice players

Posted by: farrie50 (1710)  Report abuse
It must be worrying jarvo it's bad but you are compelled to watch, still you're used to it watching that team of yours

Posted by: jarvo (28635)  Report abuse
I feel really sorry for the fans. There is literally NOTHING to play for at this stage.

Wire could and should have played a youth team. What's the point? The semi's are boxed off.

It must be mind numbing watching two teams playing the fixtures out. And next season? Well, it's back to the norm: one up one down...

The return of the 'old pals act'.

You brave buggers. You'll put up with owt.

Sad.

Canít wait for Wolves and Burnley tomorrow. A few games into the season and neither can win sweet FA.Best they can do is avoid relegation.. what a great set up.

Posted by: jarvo (28635)  Report abuse
How have you come to that conclusion then?

Only four games gone.

Posted by: broady (13775)   Report abuse
So what will either side win???? As I said sweet FA. Avoiding relegation is the name of the game.

Posted by: roylew (2936) Report abuse
Agree broady...only 6 teams capable of winning the premiership....the rest playing to stay out of the bottom 3

Posted by: builderboy (1999) Report abuse
Leicester City winning the title proves that you are wrong.

Posted by: broady (13775)   Report abuse
And Sheffield winning the RL cup against 1/14 favourites. But those are once in a lifetimes occurrences.

Wigan RLFC's Reputation?

Posted by: i-spy (13920)  Report abuse
Great viewing though

Posted by: watchalot (962) Report abuse
now you know why wendy ball players don't play rl it would spoil their hair

Posted by: Handsomeminer (1409) Report abuse
Great post tonker far better than your usual crap keep em coming

Posted by: stevejmac14 (543)  Report abuse
So, Jarvo, how have YOU come to the conclusion that there is ďliterally nothing to play forĒ?

Posted by: jarvo (28635)  Report abuse
You tell me then: what is there to play for?

Posted by: broady (13775)   Report abuse
Despite todayís win could you tell me what Wolves have to play for till next May? Consolidating and avoiding relegation. A yes or no will suffice. No need to write a poem.

Posted by: jarvo (28635)  Report abuse
...Five games gone. Eight points and eighth in the PL.

Seven points behind the leaders...

Two points in front of Everton.

Hoe do you come to that conclusion???

Posted by: broady (13775)   Report abuse
So what is their aim until next May? Keep on winning and avoid relegation?? That was said two days ago. That is the reality for this season.

Posted by: jarvo (28635)  Report abuse
...Says who?

Posted by: broady (13775)   Report abuse
So what are they going to do. Win the league or consolidate their position?

Posted by: jarvo (28635)  Report abuse
Our aim is to win the league. What else would it be?

Posted by: broady (13775)   Report abuse
OK. To be continued in 2019 when your sights have been lowered.

Posted by: jarvo (28635)  Report abuse
