Jarvo, Alliss won the Italian, Spanish and Portuguese Opens in the space of 3 weeks in 1958, tied 8th in the Open Championship four times, represented England 10 times in the World Cup of Golf, and played in 8 Ryder Cup teams.
Tell us again what you've won?

I didn't see the Spain game last night, after the first game they looked as good as anyone.
No one's really clicked as mentioned (bar Russia who have preformed better than their form suggested coming into the tournament, the home nation usually does)
I backed France at the start, and Greizmann for top goalscorer, when either comes good I get a free bet, so just covering my ass with those!
Belgium, some great players, but does anyone ever think they'll ever hear the phrase, here comes "World Cup winning manager Roberto Martinez"?
England's chance as good as anyone at this moment in time, but you could say the same about Southgate.
As they say "It's the hope that kills you"

I see they moved Bilic away from Keano following Bilics repeated leaning across and touching Roys arm/ shoulder.
I did think Roy was about to deck him at one point.
Spot on chatty ,lots of gnashing of teeth from the a b u wigan branch members.

I know 'Fergie time' became a popular saying not long after
Richard Keys and Andy Gray reinvented football in the early 90s, but 'never write the Germans off' was very well known way before that when their club and national teams always seemed to pop up with a late winner/ equaliser.

From what I saw last night Portugal will be going home after they meet Uruquay and Spain will probably beat Russia but look way too poor to win the tournament.
Croatia are the dark horses for me!

The French are the biggest certainty since shergars derby.
I will give up watching football and betting if they get beat sunday.
I do enjoy when a plan comes together .
Well done chatty and whups for backing France.

Anyone who plays Young at left fullback or plays him at all are bereft of footballing nous, and that includes Mourinho who hopefully will get sacked shortly

I repeat .
France are certainties.
The excellent Modric controlled the pace of the game this evening in the second half AND was deployed further up the pitch but sunday will be a different kettle of fish .
Pogba will have a huge opportunity to influence the game given how the french play
Unlike broady i am bothered who wins given i have France to win me a good few quid .

Surely the French will be far far superior to Croatia whups.
I do take your point that nowt in life is certain.
I recall years ago when 4 pals and myself got a class greyhound from Ireland.
Trialed him in at a flap track in the north east .Drove up there 3 times.he was well held to get him on a good mark and bet him off the boards in his race .the poke was down and 3 lengths clear off the last bend when
the lure cable snapped and came to a juddering halt ,or so the track said when they voided the race
Cue long faces in the car on the long drive home.
Come on the French

The certainties duly won easing up,bet landed .
Sovs trousered.
Pogba hugely influences the game just as i predicted he would.
Another plan comes together .
Whats not to like .
