another superb display from the old trafford greats . ha ha .

Whups .

A good win and entertains game but hardly superb. 68% possession to Liverpool and corners 13-1 in favour of Liverpool. United had two shots on target. However I donít recall De Gea making any kind of serious save. Job done.

Good to see yoonited keeping to the script.

Win the next three games and City are Champions of England......now who is that third game against then?

Having said that Everton always seem to tonk us at Woodison.

Posted by: whups (2796)  Report abuse
who cares about 68% possession. i,ll take that all day for a 3 point win against liverpool.

Posted by: broady (13237)   Report abuse
So will we all but donít talk about being superb. You find two shots on goal acceptable??? The first corner to United was in the eighty something minute.

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
An absolute master class from Jose in how to win a football game. Deny the three stooges any space behind to run at, let them have possession until the edge of the box and say if you're good enough play through us. Push them wide and let them sling crosses and corners in all day knowing their front men need it to feet.
They could have still been playing now and they wouldn't have scored a goal of their own!

Spot on summing up chatty.

Clear from kick off what the plan was and klopp had no answer .

Soak up the pressure ,hit with a couple of sucker punches.

Classic jose .

KEEP THE FAITH.

i,ll take it anytime with a win against that lot.and just to let you know broady that any win against liverpool is SUPERB.

So this is the new "united way" is it?

Don't make me laugh, you lot change your tune to suit.

Park the bus, park the bus man united,
Park the bus, park the bus I say,
Park the bus, park the bus man united,
Playing football in a negative way.

Whereas City are 13 points clear with a game in hand playing spectacular football.

MIND THE GAP!

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
Your "spectacular football" fell flat when you tried it against the scousers, I'll give you that you managed to beat them when they had 10 men!

Posted by: whups (2796)  Report abuse
so what .

Posted by: 0 years (2872) Report abuse
You obviously didn't watch our game at their place.

They had eight days off prior to that game and we had played two games in that time.

We gifted them two goals after our defence messed up (which we have now bolstered by bringing back Kompany and signing Laport) but other than that we completely controlled the game. After seventy minutes they were knackered.

We brought it back to 4-3 and they were on the ropes but we ran out of time. Even the Liverpool fans I have spoken to agreed that if the game was ten minutes longer they would have been battered.

However, it was a very entertaining game for everyone. The pundits and the papers were all proclaiming what an excellent advert it was for the EPL......unlike yesterday.

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
Eight days off, we played two games, gifted them two goals, if the game had been 10 minutes longer, we lost a game so we went and bought another defender (how un City like).....
Good grief you lost the game, man up.
Yea wonderful match thoroughly enjoyed it myself

Posted by: grimshaw (1017)  Report abuse
NO doubt you will have booked your flights and accomodation for Kiev in may then oyears given that you speak so highly of the berties.

Posted by: 0 years (2872) Report abuse
Reasons, not excuses.

Glad you enjoyed seeing our ONLY loss in the league this season so far.

Talking about excuses, I suppose yoonited are still in a period of transition.

No I haven't grimshaw, I have been a Blue for too long to take anything for granted. If we get to the final then great, I'll be there, if we don't then no problem, our time will come and it will save me alot of money this season.

I said earlier in the season, I would be very happy with a cup of some sort, the Premier League title and the semi final of the Champs League and I haven't changed my mind.

One down, two to go,

Posted by: grimshaw (1017)  Report abuse
You dont appear to show much confidence in the berties reaching the Kiev showdown.

Its a funny old game as im sure you will agree and you will no doubt accuse me of wayward fanciful deluded thinking but ,always a but , dont rule utd out of filling the kiev date.

Stranger things have happened and given the classic tactics and game management from jose its possible..

I can hear you chuckling from sunny north lincs .

I never have much confidence in City grimshaw, when your old lady has let you down so many times in the past you become hardened to disappointment and don't expect too much of her. It doesn't matter that she has a sparkly new dress, boob job and make over, you are always conscious of her capacity to betray your trust.

Maybe I am old and cynical as the young Blues simply see an attractive bombshell who everyone is admiring and are jealous of the fact that she is theirs.

As for yoonited, it wouldn't suprise me for one minute if they made it all the way, after all Chelsea did the same with an equally tedious style of football.

Posted by: grimshaw (1017)  Report abuse
OYEARS..

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
Get out the violins, why is it always City fans who think they have a monopoly on misery because they've followed a bobbins football team.
When have they "let you down" so many times in the past?
They've hardly been in line to win anything in the time you've been watching them before the Sheikh pitched up.
I can recall one FA Cup final apperance, hardly banging the door down and falling at the last hurdle season after season.

Posted by: 0 years (2872) Report abuse
Chatty, why not have the good grace of grimshaw instead of trying to pick an argument with everything. Grimshaw is principled, opinionated and playful but not antagonistic.

It's very tedious, but then again, it's just what you do isn't it. Sometimes it's entertaining and sometimes it's plain boring. Today it is the latter.

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
Now if only you had the good grace (and mentality) of a "proper" City fan by wanting your team to reach a final even if it means them not reaching it would "save you a lot of money"
You may find my posts "antagonistic" but if you post something and I think it's worth commenting on I will, especially when you try to re write history.
I see you used the age old diversionary tactic of shooting the messenger rather than answer the questions!

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
if we don't then no problem, our time will come

That's not a touch of that "arrogance" that you City fans would "hate to have" now you've started to win a few things is it?

Posted by: 0 years (2872) Report abuse
As I said, tedious.

I really can't be ars*d with your silly games today.

Go and poke someone else, see if they react.

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
That's a "I've no answer" then!
True Blue my arse!

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
Go and poke someone else, see if they react.

That's a bit rich, you hijacked the thread!

Utd supporters have been brought up like Wigan rugby supporters going back to the 50ís and 60ís.....we want entertainment

Posted by: whups (2796)  Report abuse
no mention about carragher,s spitting disgrace then ? .

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
Imagine if that had been Gary Neville whups, the invisible man would have been all over these boards instead of having to wait till United have a bad result.

Posted by: whups (2796)  Report abuse
never mind trying to shift the blame & i,m sure gary neville would,nt resort to this low level. imagine if it had been your 14yr old daughter ? .

I feel like the guy who reports a crime to the police then ends up being nicked by them.

Posted by: builderboy (1932) Report abuse
I wouldn't be surprised if Sky get rid of him as they quickly dropped Richard Keys and Andy Gray for sexist behaviour.

Isn't what happened on Saturday at least as bad?

And, because it was all captured on video he has no chance of getting away by saying they were abusive to him - it was nothing more than banter with no swearing or abusive comments involved.

Posted by: whups (2796)  Report abuse
spitting is nasty at the best of times , but at a 14yr old girl is nothing more than vile & despicable .

Posted by: grimshaw (1017)  Report abuse
He has no excuse .

It clearly shows on the vid that he spit.

The comments were from the girls dad were only banter ,nothing nasty .

Be surprised if he works for sky again given the past sackings of incidents concerning the likes of Gray and Keys..

You can take the man out of stickie land etc etc .

Posted by: basil brush (9760) Report abuse
I'm guessing pogba didn't play.

Posted by: basil brush (9760) Report abuse
I don't know why they don't just give city the trophy 🏆 and get it over with

Posted by: broady (13237)   Report abuse
",ll take it anytime with a win against that lot.and just to let you know broady that any win against liverpool is SUPERB."

A win against Sevilla would have been better but let's not worry they beat Liverpool in a no no game.

BWHAHAHAHA

Posted by: whups (2796)  Report abuse
i,ll repeat it just for you broady. ANY WIN OVER LIVERPOOL IS SUPERB.i see the sick man is back after being in hibernation.

Posted by: broady (13237)   Report abuse
I wonder if Jose and the financiers think so.

Posted by: hurricane (53)  Report abuse
I don't usually get involved in all this crap but all that rubbish about being superb...really. Borin' Maureen's only game plan was to kill the game..stop l,pool playing..if that's football you can keep it. L,pool played utd off the park and got done by two long balls.

Posted by: basil brush (9760) Report abuse
LG, do you know if pogba played against Liverpool, can't seem to get an answer off the utd lot.

Posted by: chatty (5936)  Report abuse
Troll, you've posted three times asking that question, you could have found the answer in less than thirty seconds yourself if you really wanted to know..

Posted by: whups (2796)  Report abuse
who cares . united 2 - l/pool 1 & we scored all the goals.

Posted by: laughing gravy (3569) Report abuse
basil hes never played against anyone...tho jose the LIAR said he was injured so i dont think he did basil, funny that he played four days later tho????

Posted by: grimshaw (1017)  Report abuse
Obsessed.

Posted by: whups (2796)  Report abuse
