Great pics

What you have to remember when seeing stained glass in churches and cathedrals etc. Is the fact that when they were built, the mere mortals would not have been at all familiar with such magnificent coloured lights.

Similarly, someone from some backwater village would have been astounded by Blackpool Illuminations in the early 20th century.

To be honest, I have been in the Parish Church a fair few times in recent history, and it never looks as vibrant as it does in pics. The congregation are always lovely people. Wonderful building.
