when mi mam and dad divorced,i said mam why don,t you use your maiden name, she said no people will think i,ve had three children and never married,today they don,t care.

dont think it is that they dont care brenda..a lot of the chilldren if their mums and dads are in a good relationship give there chilldren there dads surname ..and never get married .i know a few people who have been to gether a long time and dont want to get married .and love one another very much.

i put that wrong rbilly, then if you had a child outside marriage you were called names, today that,s life, times have changed, some things better some not. i like reading what you have say i wish owd dave would come back ,i like you both, going on my hols tom,bye

I know where your mum is coming from brendagrindley. When I divorced eight years ago I didn't revert back to my maiden name because I have two sons. If I hadn't I wud av.

Straight after my divorce i went back to my maiden name. My children weren't kids anymore and i just wanted to sever all ties with the pillock
