roy calderbank

does anyone have any storys to tell about my late husband roy[ good or bad ] he died in april and just wanted to know if anyone new him thanks

Maurine, hope i didn't get your hopes up with this post. I just noticed you hadn't had any replies and wanted to tell you to put it on General. You will get a better rsponse on there i hope. Also try and give a bit more info about him (what school he went to and where he worked). Hope this helps

was roy related to tony if so i new roy and used to go fishing with him and worked with him at pm roberts also sprayed a mini he had took me bloody ages get my money off him lol but i liked roy ,

mojo bloody hell its ages ago i worked with roy early eights , remember him flatten his finger with sledge hammer at stoke bakery that bloody mexican tash lol , i went sea fishing with roy n another bloke cant remember his name tho , roy lived on woodcock drive estate when i did that mini it was a white one lol sorry he passed away , he was a reet del boy in a nice way x les

Thanks les those comments have made me laugh that tash was awful made him shave it off on our wedding day lol i must know you coz we lived on woodcock drive for a short time and yes he was a del boy lol the guy he used to go fishing with is dennis used to go sea fishing when it was freezing how are you keeping hope you are well x

not bad thanks , was gutted when i saw that he had died , glad i made you laff , no harm in roy did he live on argyle st for a bit nr dog , he didnt do long at pm roberts i was only 21when roy worked there was funny when he did his finger tho he swung hammer n bricks was loose n he followed it n was on scaffold at time he was like marrio off the game lol he spent rest of day at hossey gettin it bandaged up lol have a nice new year , hope this mem helps you smile x les

Hi Les yes roy lived in argyle st when i met him I remember him hitting his finger it was bandaged up for weeks all he kept saying was cant believe i bloody did that thanks for the memories you cant help but laugh he was just so funny miss him loads but lovely to have these memories thanks for reminding me all the best to you for 2011 x

roberts my cousin
he was my best man at my wedding
havent seen em both in a while
i ran into your Roy up near top lock once
i think he was off fishing, had a laff with him and that was the last time i saw him
was sorry to hear about his passing away, he were a good bloke

Small world isnt it peter i have not seen bob or joyce for a while either roy was always fishing or shooting roy was always smiling and full of fun thanks for the sorrys peter all the best to you and your family for 2011 x
