Hi everyone, glad to see we now have a new thread, thanks to ammanda33, talking about links, I copied this from another thread,
To hyperlink:
Type [url=
then http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZgOJ7KBW8M
then close with ]
Give the link a title: Part 1
End with
posted by diana67 under "Have you seen these video's" on "Places"
I went in to u-tube copied and pasted this, then followed the instructions as above
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlnZ05SGvlk
I have split the code into two lines as below
url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=FlnZ05SGvlk ]Guitar1
bring the two lines together gives you the link to your selected video clip from u-tube
Guitar1
Thanks to jo ann and diane67

first go to photo bucket
photobucket set up an account it is free
Then upload pictures to it
then click on picture you wont to put on here look to the right you will see direct link click on it it should say copy
bring down on here and click paste
infront of what you paste write
[img=
after your link write
][/img]
you can resize a picture on your paint net go up top click resize change to 500 and save to your pictures
if you don't get it right the first time there is a little x on all the posts that says edit click on that and try again
make sure you do not write in caps like this IMG
and there can be NO spaces

Trixie in the right corner of your posts it says edit click on that first
take the message out by highlighting text press the arrow on right almost top of your key board and click on it till all the words are gone then put a x there and click submit
when you have taken them out I will show you what you did wrong
I tried to go on the website but it said harmful site so I did not go on as it might have a virus
here is a good way to try
you have to put anything you put down here on photo bucket or webshots first then click direct link then bring down here or it will not show so put one of your pictures on there and bring the link down here first try that

Marg INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING FLOWER TOWER
First take a 1 metre length of 6 inch diameter plastic drain pipe,
mark it on four sides, 1st 6inches from top, then every 6 inches down, do the same on opposite side, then mark the blank 2 sides 3 inches from top, then every 6 inches down.
Next saw each mark about 5 inches across.
Taking a heating blower, heat until plastic is pliable above cut,
then take a hand garden trowel and push in with back of trowel the top of each cut. Then heat the bottom of cut until pliable and pull out with back of trowel, waiting each time until plastic has cooled and set, thus making a pocket at each cut.
You now take two end pieces for the drain pipe drilling a 1inch hole in the centre of each, put one on the bottom of the drain pipe, then take a 1 metre length of 1inch plastic tube and a 2metre length of 3 quarter inch dowelling, take the tube with dowelling inside and place in centre of drain pipe, now put the top end piece on, this ensures that the dowelling is in the centre of drain pipe
You can now start filling drain pipe with compost, through the pockets inserting seedlings as you go,
when all pockets are planted remove end pieces leaving tube and dowelling in the centre, place the tower where you want it, then drive the dowelling into the ground, this acts as a support in windy weather. Water from the top each day and sit back and see it bloom, a lot of work but well worth it when you cannot see the tower for blooms. Don’t forget when you have made one you have it for life!!!!
With the set up of the Tube and dowelling in the centre you can turn the Tower every few days so that the sun catches the plants equally and they grow evenly all round.
One I made earlier
-------------------AFTER----------------------------------------------BEFORE PLANTING
YOU ASKED FOR IT MARGE

[img=

[/img]
go into edit and backspace http up to
to join gif]
to make one line of code, press enter to make sure no other words/letters are connected to the line of code and walha, your butterfly will be there like this

Hi spud - glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better. I was worried about you and sent an email to Oy - as I have said before I can't do any of these fancy pictures but I have enjoyed all three threads that you, amanda, lanky and Fred have been putting together.
Take care - and take it slow - I had an operation a few months ago - not as serious as your but the anesthetic knocked me about considerably. I couldn't focus or concentrate on anything for weeks.

You got it Fred, its a Clematis.Fred,if you used Layers to make your photo composition you will have each photo in its own Layer and you can move each one independant,if you can you have sussed out Layers.Remember though once you have changed it back to a jpeg, its fixed, and you can't move them.It looks good though.

how I made them I painted then did a gaussian blur half way over Then I made a square and flood filled it white then added text and clip art using magic wand and cut to get rid of background you must click on part of clip art you wont gone like the white part sometimes you have to do it more than once on clip art IF you are using clip art you need to click image on top of paint net then flatten then resize your finished work and save to jpg give it a name like frame one or two

What I did I downloaded the picture of Heather then I clickrd on layers then new layer on to the new layer I downloaded the photo frame I plulled it over the picture I clicked on magic wand then put it in the middle of the white I then clicked on edit then cut this takes the white out Now you need to click on the layer box there is a green arrow you click on the little picture in the layer box and the green arrow and click this will place the frame layer on top of the picture you then should have the picture under the frame but showing the picture on paint net you then need to flatten it and save to jpg give it a name like I love horses
Of couse you don't need to do it this way unless you are using my frames you can just do it all on one layer

Fred I just write in snowman clip art and I get a lot of links or you can find Christmas clipart by just writing it in your browser
Line dancing I think Amanda knows about that as she has done line dancing on stage
Fred you can also write in backgrounds and get tons of that
Or you can write in line dancing and get links I hope this helps
I will start doing links when I find stuff but if you wont say horses clipart that is what you write in your browser

1 download background and pull to fit
2 write to and from
3 download clip art pull to fit
resize to 500
Add green lines with line curve tool a line and a curve icon in tools
flatten and save
you can put your own Christmas picture on these but make picture smaller to fit say about 300

Amanda. What did they say on the stage "Follow That" NO WAY, that was too good for me. In my younger days jive/bop was my thing, I can still do a bit, but folk think I am daft when I get on the floor at my age, ah ah

Fred, never feel daft doing anything. I'm like you, i get stuck into anything going..i help down the local school and join everything going. When i first come to France it was hard because of the language, so i said blow it and went dancing and soon learned the language and made lovely friends. You are an inspiration at your age, i see from your posting how you get involved with the life....good for you
