hi trucker' - just seen your blog and wondering if you are related to Jackie .......(same name as yours) he lived on beech hill lane, and was the envy of all us younger lads, he was always well tanned (before sunbeds) and had muscles we could only dream of, we played soccer down the "STEEL" as we called it, the 'field' had a slope of approx 45 degrees and we needed to be fairly fit,(could have done with oxygen masks at times) jackie very rarely lost the ball as we were a bit scared to tackle him,it was a bit like tackling a wall, all his family were known for their good looks both male and female. just wondered ?

If all Jackies family were known for their good looks then I'm affaid dave cant be any relation...His face would frighten a police horse and has done a few times...lol

I could be wrong then (nothing new for me) it was just the name and the mention of Woodhouse Lane that got me thinking. The man i am referring to lost his daughter in a most tragic accident a few years back, and i know personally what effect this can have on a person.
(And 'trucker' if i'm wrong please don't take offence. ps some good photos on your Blog.)
