does anybody remember adas chippy in darlington st east,best chips in the world ?

Was that the one at the top of Spring St. On Darlington St are the one that is now a Chinese chip shop opposit the Silverwell pub.

I can remember a chippy on the corner of Brookhouse St opposite the tool; hire place,it has long been pulled down,a real gud chippy it was an all

I remember the one at the corner of Brookhouse Street. Excellent food.
When it closed I went to the one across from the Silverwell.
There was another good one on Warrington Road Ince in the middle of the row of terraced houses on the left just before the dairy.

My cousin used to have the one that is the Chinese now,that would have been in the late 60's-early 70's. Then it became a Chinese and has been ever since,although it has changed hands

I remember their being a Chinese Chippy in Darlington St. in the early 80's me and my mates used to call in their walking home from Wigan baths it was called Full Kwai House or something like that.
