grovers place, orrell

Doe anyone know where this was, found it on the 1911 census .

There was a Glovers Place in Orrell

So you want Glovers place, not Grovers?

Glovers Place was in Kitt Green, it was behind City road, on the opposite side of the road from the cricket club, it was behind where the houses have been demolished, on the left of this photo

Would you happen to know how I can get hold of a map dating back to 1926, my nan was born on Orrell Road in Wigan.

I am trying to find out as much as possible and I am very new to this. Finding my way one day at a time.

The map is dated 1907 but if you look here, http://www.old-maps.co.uk, you will be able to look on maps closer to 1926.

This is 1929, Orrell road is marked as the tramway.

Thank you everyone for your kind suggestions, especially dodger. I hope you dont mind me asking, how do you know the tramline is also known as Orrell Road?
I am lead to believe some houses no longer exist whereby they were demolished due to the M6 being built. Is this right? Any ideas how I can find vintage photos for both Orrell Road and in Poole Street in Wigan

The tramline is Orrell road Barbara, I used to live up that area, on later maps, after the tramline had finished, it is marked Orrell road.
