Hurrah, I got 5/5 but thats only because I was in the St Johns Ambulance Brigade a few years back. A very worthwhile cause?

I didn't get all 5, Erontquay, at least not with confidence. It is an extremely important cause.

WHEN I worked on airport security,jo anne, two employees were allowed to do the basic St.John's First Aid course and after two years my request for a refresher course was refused.Although there was a defibrillator adjacent to security check in we were not allowed to or trained to use it.We were told by our employer to call the emergency service if need be!I bet you can guess the name of the security company.

I know the one, Dave, I've seen you mention it previously. My sister-in-law works for them as a prison warden and the way they go about things is appalling.

pretty well. Whenever my hubby gets hurt I get out the first aid kit. When I sliced my forearm open abit, he hurried up and used that skin glue to pull the skin together and glue it

I've got the free first aid guide at home, Piccy, and it is good, though I think a practical course would give me more confidence in applying some of it in an emergency situation.

i had regular training at work but it will lapse now. i think the TV ad was good in that it says just to keep pumping the chest is better than doing nothing.

Geoff - great photo, it'd be great if first aid training could be more prevalent for us all, but not sure how we could go about it nationally though.
