Much better than Thomas Cook. Five months to recover a two night hotel bill for my cousin and self. It was hard work too.

The Thomas Cook recovery was ATOL not our own individual insurance. Something else I was wondering about, in our particular circumstances would the hotel be paid twice i.e. our original payment followed by our at the time of departure payment, that was the one we were refunded via ATOL? Do the hotel repay ATOL, how does it work?

I've got flights booked (for me an't'waaaaife, laaaaaike) with Ryanair for 16th April to 23rd April.
I'm hoping it's o'er wi' by then.
The flights were only £39 return, each. Only £78 lost, so I'm not that arsed !

My lad who booked with Wigan rugby to go to Toronto with Transat will only get a token from the airline to book a flight another time,
