"A traditional narrow boat" Whoever wrote this knows nothing about boats as narrow boats are usually 6ft 10 inches wide and Kennet is double that.

Tell it to the Water, Fri 19th Aug, 10am - 4pm: FB Event

Find us along the canal bank, near to Trencherfield Mill

Sharing your hopes and dreams for the future, placing them directly into the Leeds Liverpool Canal through a creative performance later in 2016.

Tell it to the Water is a creative project for the Bicentenary with artist Jeni McConnell - Link
We're asking people to share their hopes and dreams for the future of the canal which will then be placed directly into the watery depths as a performance in late September. Come & find us, write your message, choose your cargo of coal or limestone and dip into the box of mile post numbers to see where your message will be given to the water.

Collected messages are stored in lovely tall glass jars - messagesinjars
If you are curious to know which canal section your message will be placed into, this link should help canalsections and there's a link below each map to take you directly to the images of the wrapped messages. If you'd prefer to look at all the albums use this link wrappedmessages

Each image has a UNIQUE IDENTIFIER which looks like this:
S6|M58|E1 - S-Section | M-Milepost | E-Event
