Don't theses politically correct buffoons realise that banning things like morris dancing will make ordinary people more prone to racist sentiment.
I wouldn't dream of going to Skipton if The Craven Flagcrackers weren't performing.

I thought you'd mentioned them in the past blc.
Replied: 29th Jun 2009 at 17:56
You have a good memory dostaf.
I was considering joining the them but it's that bit too far to travel for regular practice etc.
Replied: 29th Jun 2009 at 18:30
...and I didn't.

It's time our country polished up its act.
Being part of the The Craven Flagcrackers does look like great fun, Bennie.

Dostaf the offer to join The Wigan Flagcrackers is also entended to you.
Membership by invitation only.
Replied: 29th Jun 2009 at 19:09
Each member must supply their own attire.
I will however supply a communal quantity of boot polish.

I looked upon you as more of a burnt cork provider.

That may be a more economical method dostaf, i must have you on board as Treasurer, at the very least; you've saved me money already.
Can you suggest any WW members you think would make good Flagcrackers?
Replied: 29th Jun 2009 at 19:20

Great to have you on board Jo anne, do you play a musical instrument or would you prefer to be a dancer?
Replied: 29th Jun 2009 at 19:30
Can I stick to dancing please, Bennie.
Replied: 29th Jun 2009 at 19:32
Bennie, you do realise you can't be a Morris Dancer (Male) if you've been circumcised
Replied: 29th Jun 2009 at 19:54
Circumcision will be tolerated in The Wigan Flagcrackers but it will not be compulsory.
Jo anne you are now a dancer but first would you do a little audition please?

Is it OK if it came off with fair wear and tear
Replied: 29th Jun 2009 at 21:00
They don't look English to me Danni.
But Morris dancing did spread far and wide in various forms , it probably originated in Turkey as "Morris" is likely a corruption of "Moors", hence the tradition of blacking up in celebration of its origins.
Ha Ha Copperhead.

I'm sorry blc, but I must respectfully decline the position you offered. (Ooh errr)
In the light of recent revelations, I do not wish to be accountable for all the tips.
PS Be careful that this venture doesn't turn into something one would expect from the folks of Summerisle.
