Sitting On The Back Seat

Started by: dostaf (inactive)

No, not with Fred.

As anyone who has had travel-sickness will tell you, it's less problematic if they sit in the front seat. I have heard people make excuses to sit at the front, including the motion-sickness one (though he was the driver).

Italian Job (1969) scene;

Charlie Croker: What's the matter.
Yellow: He says he wants to sit up in front with the driver!
Coco: I always get sick in the back.
Yellow: Listen, if I go in the back, I'll get me migraine, I'll be out like a light.
Charlie Croker: You are not going to be sick. You are not going to have your migraine. And everybody is gonna sit in the back of the motor!
Arthur: Charlie, me in the back of the motor with my asthma?

But;

When did you last see a car with one of those dangling earth straps at the back, or even a bit of chain to "earth" the static?

They did in 2003 mester.

Haven't seen it and don't fancy it. How can you remake an iconic britflick in Americaland?

Remakes should never be attempted full stop.

Have you ever got into a mini tho?(Car). I tried it, got my legs in but couldn't get my shoulders in.

Second Italian job was dire....

Time was when there was great entertainment on the telly. They were always trying to see how many students they could stuff into a mini on Blue Peter and the like.

And they showed a double-ended mini.
