Carrots

Has anyone actually turned orange due to eating too many carrots?

Or is it an urban myth that was propogated by the programme 'The District Nurse' some years ago?





It's got this mon thinking.

Carrots used to be purple, not orange!

If you feed grated carrots to canaries, they will turn 'carrot coloured' - and that's a fact !

yes I baby sat a baby once that looked like she had orange skin I told the mother she was feeding her too many carrots she stopped the babies skin went back to normal

Not a myth , you can turn orange. But,of couse,if you insist on eating purple carrots.........

I have acid reflux i turn orange after I eat something acidic.
