Serious Post

Started by: wiganer516 (5590)

Seeing as the quality of postings on here lately has gone to pot I thought I would see what reception this important post gets.

Does anyone remember when you was younger(if your in your 40`s or older) when white dog poo was a common sight. You very rarely see it now a days. I only mention this as when we took our dog for a walk around Viridor Woods yesterday we saw some.

Seems it has a lot to do with a dogs diet...Folk used to be employed to pick up white dog poo...something to do with the phrase 'kid gloves'. How much did you get?

white dog poo is down to giving dogs bones and the calcium in them.
The collction of dog poo (of all colours) was called <smart>
collecting and was qute well paid.It was used in the leather tanning process.
What I wonder is it still used in the process cos my little dog creates an endless supply and I'd like to make an extra bob or 2.That would be smart.

I haven't seen any for ages either, and dog poo is a pretty big problem on Worsley Hall/Norley Hall estates.I saw white dog poo near Norley Shops yesterday! (Or rather my pram's wheels did!)

I aint seen any dog eggs for ages either. And since when have they been picking it up themselves and putting it in bags and hanging it in trees on the canal bank! Here is another few things you dont see;

A blonde china man
An old man eating a Twix
or
A tortoises willy
