' ... When is Merseyside day Tonker?'

Beaten to it, by dostaf, I don't seem to be able to find a 'Greater Manchester' Day either, bentlegs!

However, I would point out that Merseyside and Greater Manchester were created by way of the very same Local Government Act, back in 1972. It follows that anywhere in Merseyside (ie: Downall Green) has NOT been in Lancashire for exactly the same time as anywhere in Greater Manchester (ie: Wigan) has NOT been in Lancashire.

Cheeeeeese and Dog Meeeeeeat!

Have you decided to 'call it a day' now, Dostaf.

You missed Easter Sunday.

Careful jo anne.

You may have noticed that I missed one of the most religious (in some cultures, but obviously not all) days off my list.

Maybe others could contribute favourite days up to the last quarter of December.

Meanwhile.

Here's

Turds Day

Mary's first teaching job was in Wednesfield, Dostaf. I bet she had a field day working on murals with the children.

I know Chads are rare, but there seem to be plenty of kil-joys.

And never in a month of Sundays will you holy convince me that the Sabbath day wasn't founded in religions - there was a time when it was religiously kept, but not so much these days.

Wasn't Ted Heath who was in charge when these silly counties were invented.
The same Ted Heath who took us into the "Common Market" and said nothing would change,

' ... we don't agree with those silly made up counties.'

A county is just a county. What is there to agree, or disagree, with?
Everything is 'made up', some things were made up 'then' and some are 'made up' now.
And, in the future, someone will 'make up' something completely different!

You pinned it down to nylon, Dostaf?
That wouldn't fit with this thread.

I'll leg it now.

Some of my nylon research could be considered unseamly jo anne.

But I enjoyed the leg work.

Well - don't keep us in suspenders for too long awaiting the conclusions.

That would be tight.

(Don't take Polly with you - you'd soon have a snag and something up with your research.
