Nor'another one about the heat. Ger'away wi' ya, it's beltin'. 'Cos I don't get to go away on holiday this is the first tan I've had in 7 years and I'm making the most of it. Don't know what you do for a living Billy but I'm sat in an office with computers, printers and a photocopier kicking out the heat, and we've no windows that'll open! I've got the front door open though which gives a wee bit of a breeze every now and then! More, more, more, pleeeeeease!!! It used to be like this every summer when I were a nipper. It'd get so hot that the tar would bubble between the cobbles!

Oh yes Plum47. My little brother and I would sit in the middle of Harrogate Street in Wigan in the 50s popping tar bubbles then making them into a ball. I'd get me yed run over now if I tried sitting in the middle of ANY road!! Yea Fozzy I got what for an all!

Really loving the weather, but i agree with you all the way, too much! oh gosh, its awfull in bristol! we are sat here now with a fan blasting at us and i dont think any of us are getting anything from it. Still, it's nice to wake up in the morning and see the sunshine!

We're never satisfied are we? we complain when it's too cold and complain when it's too hot. A happy medium would be nice though! My poor dog is doing nothing but pant, I've been leaving the fan on for her during the night.
I remember that Mollie - the melted tar on the roads.

the recent gas and electricity price rises(again)has me thinking that its time to invest in solar energy???has to be cheaper in the long run.what a booster for the storage cells with this brit summer we are having, the suits tell us that this is going to become the norm as the earth warms up.yup, i guess its solar for me.(wonder if theres a grant out there for me
