Brexit

Started by: Platty (2107)

After 12 hours of negotiation, the Cabinet has agreed terms for remaining in the EU. GB remains tied to EU rules and regulations indefinitely. That means increasing taxes to pay for it. Plus the cost of asylum seekers. How is the aging population expected to pay for this on fixed incomes? The state pension increased 3% this year but Council Tax went up 5.2% (in Bolton to pay for Burnham). Scary times ahead.

What a complete waste of money spent on this and what a slap in the face for the people of this country.

Platty

This is all stage managed crap, it will have been known for months now what the relationship will be with the EU after Brexit and whatever this deal really is, at least we will be out of the the EU and free to do what we want after March 29th next year and free to change the relationship, because as at now as a member of the EU we are legally bound by EU laws and have no say in most aspects of UK law ....

Let's just get out of the bloody thing and stuff um ...

No, TTS, we won't be out. We will be tied by EU rules and regs, that is the agreement with the Cabinet. Yes, it is stage managed, but I've read that May gave Merkel details of what she proposed to put in the White Paper. To me that is treason.
I think the time is coming for a bit of aggression.

Think we’ve got a revolution...not a solution
