Thanks Dave, I've got the original manual but it's all double Dutch to me. I really need some instruction or someone to set it up for me.

Anne
Is there a particular thing you want to listen too, because most two way radio communications on the old analogue systems, have been superseded by digital communications.

Tommy....I would like to listen to aircraft traffic in particular and maybe shipping traffic also. At one time I could as it was left by my husband to do these things but a child messed it up. I was able to listen to police communications at one time before they went digital, however I am pretty sure aircraft and others aren't digital.

Anne, aircraft band is between 108 and about 136 MHz I think, these use AM.

Thanks Dave for your efforts.... I have all that kind of info listed, it's how to put it all into the scanner I can't master, seems very, very complicated to my old brain. As I said it looks like I need to have the thing set up for me.
